Award winning filmmaker, searching storyteller and self confessed travel addict.

How producers would introduce me:

Marko is a director with a genuinely global outlook. His work effortlessly blends cinematic beauty with authentic portraiture. With commissions for the likes of Mercedes, Amazon and National Geographic already under his belt, Marko is making a strong name for himself as a unique observer of people and places. A restless explorer of culture and humanity, this enquiring spirit has earned multiple awards including Gold at Clio and Ciclope, silver at the New York Festivals and a shortlisting at the CANNES YDA for his powerful film “KHEROU"

How a biography writer would sum up my first twenty something years:

Growing up in small town Bad Vilbel, with a mild James Bond obsession and a dog named Randale, Marko went on to finish school and college in Frankfurt with a one year exchange in Montreal. He then completed studies in Media and Economics at Media University in Stuttgart whilst once again studying abroad, this time in Copenhagen.

What I have to say about myself:

I am not a fan of writing about myself. Let’s meet and talk.
